Many of you would be aware that Mr Peter Robinson has been one of these traditions. After nurturing and inspiring generations of families at Xavier for over forty eight years, Peter has decided that the time has come for him to put down his black Uni-ball fine liner pen and move into the peaceful life of retirement. We are truly grateful for Peter’s contribution to Xavier High School and its predecessor schools St Joseph’s and Aquinas College.  Peter has left an indelible mark on the lives of all those he has had contact with - students, parents and fellow staff members. His wisdom and insights will continue to be part of our community for many years to come and on behalf of the school, I wish Peter and his wife Cindy, all the best for the next stage of their life journey. We will acknowledge and thank Peter in a more formal way closer to the end of the year.

Preparations for our second staff conference, Together Towards 2020 are well underway and will take place on Tuesday January 29 and Wednesday January 30 2019.  As part of next year's conference, we are focussing on developing the Vision and Mission of the school, wanting to refine it to reflect the culture of the school as it shapes our community now and into the future.  To find out how you can assist us in this process please refer to the Xavier High School Parent Forum.

Please note that 2019 will be a transitional year.

With families finishing up their time at Xavier, we sadly lose some of our canteen volunteers. Days are split into 2 shifts (please see below).

Volunteers are required to assist with the preparation of food and serving in the canteen.

List of Tasks For Volunteers

• Help get out food and drinks to assist with serving

• Preparing Sandwiches and other food as required

• Heating muffins

• Serving students

• Using flexischools/Cash register

Shift One:

Mon, Wed, Thurs - 10.45 - 11.45am ( 60 mins)

Tues - 10.30 - 11.30am (alternate timetable)

Fridays - 10.45 - 12.15pm ( 90 minutes)

Shift Two:

Mon, Wed, Thurs - 1 - 2.15pm ( 75 mins)

Tues - 12.30 - 1.30pm (alternate timetable)

Fridays - 12.15 - 2.15pm ( 120 minutes)

School returns on January 31 for Years 7, 10, 11 and 12. Students in Years 8 & 9 will return, Friday Feburary 1.

Term 1 will finish on Friday, April 12.

Please note that the school office will re-open on Monday, January 21.

This is a place for the sale or swap of second-hand uniforms and school equipment only. All posts will be approved by admin before being published to the group. Group rules must be abided to. Admin holds no responsibility for disputes in relation to items listed on this page for sale.

The school office is available as a drop off/ collection point, however the transaction must take place beforehand. The staff at Xavier are not responsible for any items being sold or swapped through the page.
