BEEautiful Honey!

We were absolutely ‘BEElessed’ to have Mr Williams bring in some of his honey frames to school today!

As our students watched in awe, we were all educated in the production of honey, the extraction process and the importance of bees amongst our ecosystem.
Honey extraction is the central process in beekeeping were the removal of the honey is separated from the honeycomb to ensure it is isolated in its purest liquid form.

*Only the frames covered in honeycomb were bought and stored in the refrigerator at school, no bees were present.
