Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

13 May 2015

What a wonderful whirlwind of colour, talent and inspiration! Over 100 Xavier students were involved both on and offstage in the production of our musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Between the 6th to 9th May, 2015 almost 2000 people were thoroughly spell-bound and entertained by an amazing display of collaboration, hard work, growth and learning. The energy, fun and passion displayed by these young people spread such joy performance after performance. Beautiful vocals and orchestral accompaniment, professional and accomplished acting, stunning costumes, sets hair and makeup, tightly choreographed dance, set changes, sound and lighting and smooth running front of house, produced a spectacle that showcased an impressive range of abilities, hard work and commitment on behalf of every individual involved.

A huge thank you to Ms Mary-Jayne Boyd; Ms Nadia Dosenko; Ms Sharyn Hill; Ms Julie Pearsall; Mrs Anne Files; Mr Geoff Haymes; Mrs Kathy Boyd; Ms Georgia Kemp; Mrs Nichole Smith; Ms Julia Lockwood; Mr Michael Ryan; Mr Garth McKenna; Mr James Eggleston; Mrs Sally Ryan; Ms Lyn Coates; Ms Louise Azzi; Mr Paul McAlister; Ms Margaret Beecher; Ms Terri-Anne Scott; Ms Janice O’Rourke; Ms Kerry Ellias; Mr Erik Hamilton; Ms Alice Watson; Mr Paul Hendricks; Ms Cynthia Hansford; Ms Tanya McLaren; Mrs Moira Porta and Mrs Anne Cretan, for their critical assistance throughout production and during our performances.

With the input of so many staff, students and parents we were able to produce a show that will be remembered for years to come. Ultimately, the students presented a wonderful advertisement for what we are about at Xavier and they should be very proud of what they have achieved.
